History of the Centre
In 1991 The Okanagan Centre for Positive Living first opened its doors in Vernon BC. It was a union of The Science of Mind Centre of the Thompson Okanagan (a society in our community of over seven years) and Reverend Lloyd Klein, (a graduate minister of Religious Science International from the Calgary Centre for Positive Living, Church of Religious Science).

Since that time the Centre has maintained an active presence in our community. Its membership has ranged at times from thirty members up to a hundred; presently we number approximately 40 members with around 20 regular attendees. It continues to be a registered non-profit society in good standing with the BC and Canadian government.

Our Centre's appeal continues to be its ongoing philosophy of individual well-being through Spiritual, mental, and emotional development; to this end we offer ongoing classes and often invite workshop leaders to our community. The Centre promotes community involvement as part of its personal development philosophy. After fourteen years we continue be a solid influence for the greater good of our community.
