I want to share a wonderful project I have taken up this season.   I am publishing some of my work.  No; not a book.

For years now I have been sending out daily inspirational emails, It is a passion of mine, part of my daily meditation practice.  I also enjoy photography and my wife Hannah enjoys gardening.  This year I have put together a 12 month calendar of my photos of Hannah's incredible garden flowers and inspirations from my daily Light Mail (www.lightmail.org).  This is a full size wall calendar.

Because I am doing it from home it is relatively simple for me modify the layout to put your own Centre or business Logo in place of our own Centres.

If you are interested in supporting our Centres fundraiser and possibly using it for your own fundraiser, or if you would just like a calendar for your own, for friends, for family, for presents or what have you please respond with a request.  In order to have them printed and delivered in time for the season sooner would be better than later.

They retail for $18 each, for orders of 5 or more they are $12, and for orders of 10 or more they are $10; All for original art and contemplations by myself.  If you choose your own Logo please include a JPEG that I can work with.  You can pay through paypal on my www.lightmail.org website or through our Centres website at www.ok-cpl.org.  Donation receipts can be issued through our Centre for individuals if desired for multiple orders .

Celebrate June!!

Somehow, the physical act of smiling helps me to keep my thoughts positive.  With positive thoughts, it became easier to smile.  Smile and the world smiles with you – yes – but it is so much more than that!  A smile can change your mood instantly.  If you want to be happy really, really fast –start smiling.  Try it, right now.  Doesn’t that feel great!  Anytime you find yourself a little depressed, smile as big and wide as you can.  Okay you might want to do it somewhere private – or maybe not – it’s a great conversation starter. The important thing is - it works!      

A smile can change the mood of others.  When someone sees you smile, it makes him or her realize that happiness is achievable, that not everyone in the world is miserable.  It gives them hope, if that’s what they’re looking for.

A smile will significantly increase your self-esteem.  Smiling sends a subtle message to your subconscious that you like yourself and that you’re contented.  You really are as happy as you decide to be and smiling sends the message, “Mission accomplished.”

A smile will instantly increase your sex appeal.  I don’t care how many times you’ve been told that the opposite sex likes dark and mysterious.  These days, men and women alike don’t have time for dark and mysterious.  Give us someone who’s already happy – that’s what we’d like to latch on to. 

Use it while on the phone.  You’ll be amazed at how people will be able to tell you’re smiling!  Just as important, smiling improves your mood – that’s what comes across over the phone or even while composing e-mail!

A smile can literally change someone’s life!!

  I would like to share a personal favorite of Rev.Dale's treatments ...

There is one life; it is perfect and it is complete.  This one life is expressing itself continually into form while always maintaining itself as whole and complete.  I am one with this whole and although my physical appearance stands separate this is merely an illusion based upon a filtered perspective.  I am whole and I am one with the whole.
In my complete awareness of my oneness with the divine I recognize that all that ‘is’ is already mine.  By my willingness to see it, to feel it and believe it I attract the form into my life.  Things are substance and they are mine by right of consciousness.  Feelings are subtle things that are made mine by my focus.  As I focus on those feelings the things of my desire come to me because everything is already mine.
I am truly grateful for this simple and complete truth.  I am grateful that it is working in my life now.  I am grateful that right now I have the things of my desiring and I am grateful the law of love has already made it so.  In my gratitude I release this word, an arrow true to its mark.  It is done now.
And So It Is

Genetically Modified Foods  - April 15, 2011 at 7:00PM
This Documentary and informational presentation by David Doncaster will bring you the latest information on Genetically Modified foods. David has been studying GMO foods for over two years and has trained with the Institute for Responsible Technology.
In this presentation you will learn what you need to know to recognize and make conscious choices about GMO foods.

Book Draw:  Every month we sponsor a “Book of the Month” – The book for April, “This Thing Called You” .  We will be drawing for that book after the Sunday Celebration the last Sunday of April – Don’t miss out – we will still be accepting entries for that draw until the end of April!  Entry is $1 per entry or 3 entries for $2.

Piano Fund - raising money to purchase a new Baby Grande for The Centre - tickets are being sold for $2 each - your name will be entered into a draw for art work - each time after $100 is raised we will draw.

Science of Mind Classes – New Classes Starting in April!!!!!

• Starting April 21^st - Afternoon 2:00 – 4:30 PM, Science of Mind 208   “Emerson’s Essays” with Rev Dale  - Please notify the Centre ASAP if you are wanting to attend

Ralph Waldo Emerson was the most quoted, most inspirational writer in America for over a hundred years. His concept of American Voice, of Self-Reliance, and of The Oversoul have influenced the New Thought movement profoundly. He is quoted by all the great metaphysical writers and he was the first to break through traditional Christianity in such a way as to inspire multitudes to higher thought. Background information on Emerson's times and his fellow members of the Transcendentalist circle is covered. They include Bronson Alcott, Margaret Fuller, Henry David Thoreau, and Walt Whitman.

  Spiritual Mind Treatment: The Nature of Effective Prayer is designed to give the student a thorough understanding of the nature and practice of affirmative prayer. SOM® 102 incorporates exercises that develop the student's understanding of how to pray effectively for themselves. Participants practice by writing spiritual mind treatments. This course covers pages 63-83 in The Science of Mind®.

In The Principles of Successful Living, students explore the role of consciousness in co-creating his or her own life. developing a positive, life-affirming consciousness is one of the goals of this class. Upon successful completion, participants will have a greater understanding of our place in this spiritual universe and our relation to the one creative source. This course covers pages 266-321 in The Science of Mind
